I met a cute, blonde mechanical engineer who has been waiting to fly home since noon

She tells me “my flight was cancelled, and I couldn’t re-book until this flight. It’ll be fine, though. Only an hour and we’re outta here. It can’t get worse.”

A few minutes later, our flight was delayed another hour.

I told her something bad would happen.
