Okay, okay, “on” Long Island
See, here’s what nags an outsider. Queens and Brooklyn are ON Long Island in the geographic sense, but not ON Long Island in the geopolitical sense.
Someone should do something about that. Perhaps build a moat along the eastern border of Queens.
