Actually, that sounds more likely. I am about 33 books into the Discworld series, which is probably where I read it.
I’m not as big a fan of the Death subseries as people suggested I would be. I loved the Watch novels and the Tiffany Aching novels.

Tiffany Aching is a pretty awesome kid.
The sheer concentratedness of History, sleeting past soundlessly out into the world, can be overwhelming. Time is a drug. Too much of it kills you.

I liked Vimes far more than Rincewind
Oh well, onto the next set of Discworld novels.
I’m just devouring Discworld novels. I finished the Rincewind set a while back and am nearing the end of the Watch books.
Vimes is the best.
