Truthful Tuesday

Don’t want to go back to Toronto this evening.

Very glad that I’ll be back in 6 days.

Hope I can get an offer for this job or one of the others I’m applying to soon.

I want to move here. I probably will in the very near future.

More than one good reason to move.

To The People Who Organize Tumblr/Twitter Meetups…

btothed:

… I offer a simple thank you. You’re doing important work. I know, it sounds silly to use the word “important” when talking about organizing Internet parties. But take a second to think about the impact these meetups have on one another.

How many of us have met our significant others, made best friends, and been given support ranging from moral to monetary during rough patches, because of these meetups.

Yes, we’re still forming communities even if we never get to meet half of the people we converse with, in person. But often, these events push us out of our comfort zone or give us an opportunity to visit another city, when we usually wouldn’t. And as palm sweaty or hangovery the next morning it may be for different people, everyone is better for the opportunity.

No doubt, organizing and putting on these is stressful, time consuming, and often times, thankless. But it’s important to so many.

I may not be able to make it to most of them, but I enjoy reading about them and attending them vicariously through your posts, tweets, and photos.

So, let me offer a simple … thank you.

36. Lie once. If you aren’t believed, lie once more. After that, stop. Nobody tries to convince others of facts.

I’ve got a lot of rules about lying, apparently.

I wish ADHD was contagious!

vasectomy:

I also wish it was a VD, because I would LOVE to fuck all the haters and debunkers. I’m thinking right now I’m wishing you all had it once to feel what I am feeling right now.

40 minutes after taking my meds, this feeling of calm is just epic. The world slows down, my thoughts seas, and suddenly I find myself right here in the NOW. I never knew people could exist without constantly thinking before. I can look at an arbitrary object right now and not think about it. How fucking weird is that? If I want to, I can write a post on tumblr and only think about that I’m writing a post on tumblr. This is so cool! Right??

No, probably not for you, some of you take this for granted every day of your life, and you have no clue how lucky you are. But instead of cherishing that gift you have, you spend it on telling people like me that there is nu such thing as ADHD. It’s just laziness or inability to preform. Yeah call me stupid and let’s take an IQ-test with me, then you will understand the saying “Stupid is what stupid does!”

But I’m an adult and I can take your arguments and stick em right back up your ass where they came from. But there are young kids out there who can not! They believe your bullshit because they have been taught to listen to adults. There are also parents who hear the other kids parent talk behind their back about how fucking bad they are at raising their kid. Comments like that kid will never amend to nothing, and he will probably end up in jail are so common.

But yet the same people do not want these kids to receive treatment, because in their minds ADHD is just bullshit. Now, who gave that wild kid his ticket to the slammer?

In every situation in life use your heads. Regarding everything. Never judge a person without trying to understand what’s lurking behind the surface. Taking the easy way out and just deciding that guy at work is a douche really say more about YOU than it does him!

Peace out, and I love you all who live and think!
