There’s this fantastic metal artist on Etsy, KnobCreekMetalArts, who makes these really cool, whimsical bookends (way more than the ones I’ve posted here). Yes, despite owning a Kindle, I also have lots of books.
I recently got an Etsy Gift Card, and I’ve decided to finally get one of these. Sadly, I can’t decide which!
What do you think?
The “Etski” trip comes with screenprinted armbands and a dedicated site support team working in shifts from the lodge.
We are such loveable nerds.
Not everything in my life is working the way I’d like, but I’m being paid pretty well to do a job I love with a team I think is fantastic in a city I’ve adored for my entire adult life.
So, I am most definitely thankful.
Today, with a borrowed nametag, I impersonated John at the craft mothership I call work.
As John, I visited two of the phone rooms on the main floor (the oversized plushie office phone room, and the evil villain phone room), stuck the nametag on the weird Etsy mascot, Mr. Grit, and then left work a little early (because I’m not feeling well after what I ate today), stopping for a photo op at the Manhattan Bridge overpass, for which the neighbourhood, DUMBO, is named.
